The client envisioned a comprehensive fitness ecosystem encompassing landing pages, a Progressive Web App (PWA) for users, and an admin CRM to manage data. The primary challenge lay in the sheer complexity of the system: handling vast amounts of information, implementing tiered access based on subscription levels, and managing intricate nutritional data including recipes with detailed macro and micronutrient breakdowns. Integrating these diverse components while ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms posed a significant technical hurdle.

The solution to the client's needs was a Next.js application, that would host both the landing pages, and the PWA. With common actions between the two, I managed to easily share data, like linking emails gathered from landing pages for email campaigns on Mailer Lite, and Active Campaign, to users in the app. For the backend, Firestore was my choise, for tracking user progress and storing exercises and programs. And Sanity for allowing the coach to easily create and modify recipes.
